3C Patch® System
Reapplix invented and manufactures the 3C Patch® System. This innovated process and set of products help in the biological treatment and management of diabetic foot ulcers by producing a patch from the patient’s own blood.
The system consist of the 3C Patch® Device were a small sample of blood is drawn into the device from the patient. The device is then placed into the centrifuge and after about 20 minutes a biological patch is ready to be applied to the patient's wound.
My studio helped in the development process to design the centrifuge and to add design elements to the 3C Patch® Device that would improve the daily use and function of the device.
